Siemens Unveils AI-Designed EV Charging Sculpture in Garching

The town of Garching, near Munich, Germany, is now home to the world's first AI-designed EV charging sculpture, unveiled by Siemens. This innovative project, part of the Siemens Arts Program, marks a significant step in combining cutting-edge technology with creative design to enrich urban spaces.

Last week, Siemens installed its first AI-designed sculptural installation for the SICHARGE D high-power charger at its Garching campus. Developed under the hashtag #SiemensArtsProgram, this project aims to transform a functional EV charging station into a visually striking piece of public art. The design process involved AI-based image generation tools that produced concepts inspired by organic forms, later refined with input from design and engineering experts.
