Introduction to AI in Triberg
The picturesque town of Triberg im Schwarzwald is making strides in integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into its community fabric. Recently, the Rotary Club Furtwangen-Triberg organized a workshop focusing on AI, aimed at educating young leaders about this transformative technology.
Key Highlights of the RYLA Workshop
Over a three-day period, 35 participants aged 18 to 31 engaged in various activities around AI. Hosted at 'Daheim in Triberg', the workshop included practical applications like virtual reality ski jumping and discussions on innovations and AI startups in Germany, featuring speakers like Eduard Heindl and Günther Möckesch.
Industry Applications and Creative Projects
Participants visited Wiha in Schonach to learn about AI's role in industrial settings. Additionally, Susanne Hackenbracht facilitated a creative session where attendees used clay to express their understanding of AI. This blend of technical and artistic exploration highlighted AI's multifaceted impact.
Community and Leadership Development
The workshop also focused on leadership development through the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) program. Participants had the opportunity to network with professionals, enhancing their personal and social competencies, and learning about the workings of Rotary and Rotaract clubs.
